Our Team

If you are new to Changes Hair Studio please get to know a little bit about us under our names. We hope to provide you with the best experience not just for your hair but for YOU. Please feel free to request a stylist when booking, we will also try to match you with the best fit for the best result.

All of our team are expertly trained to the same standard, however differ in additional levels of education and experience. Each stylist provides a different skill set and may be better suited to you.

Our front desk are wonderful at finding YOUR best stylist for YOU and YOUR HAIR.

ALANA
How long have you been a stylist? I started doing hair when I was 12. My Dad bought me a clipper set because I always wanted to do hair, and I started cutting his hair! I went to school 1997 and got licensed in 1998. How long have you worked at Changes Since opening January 2001. What do you specialize in or prefer to do?  I love everything about hair but I would have to say my favorite would be to fix a home hack or color flop! What's your favorite Aveda product? My fav aveda product would probably have to be the Shampowder Dry Shampoo. What 3 things could you not live without? 3 things I can't live without....if you know me at all 1 would be the gym! 2- I should throw my kid in there lol 3- my dogs! What inspires you? I get inspired by going to classes all around the world! We are so lucky to be able to pick and class anywhere Italy, Minneapolis, New Orleans,  Orlando, Toronto) and go! The team I work with also inspire me! We all do hair differently so it's nice to watch and pick things up!

NOTE: Annaliese is on maternity leave How long have you been a stylist? I have been a stylist for 9 years How long have you worked at Changes? I've worked at changes for 11 years! What's your favorite Aveda product? My favorite aveda product would have to be air control, I love the aroma and it's a very universal product for all hair types although texture tonic would be a close second for my favorite. What 3 things could you not live without? 3 things I couldn't live without would be sunny days, my cat and vacations! What Inspires you? My inspiration comes from both my coworkers and clients. I love how there are so many different personalities and styles out there that it's hard not to be inspired. Philocaly certified

How long have you been a stylist? Since 2007. How long have you worked at Changes? I have been with Changes since 2015. What is your favourite Aveda product? My favourite Aveda product is Shampowder Dry Shampoo. What's three things you cannot live without? Things I cannot love without of course my family and loved ones, coffee lots of it and of course my dry shampoo. What inspires you? My inspiration comes from my mentors in the industry that I look up to. When I took my training with Aveda the best advice someone told me was to find someone you truly admire and pick their brain and learn as much as you can from them. I find what others have learnt and their experiences in the industry inspires me the most and gives back into my passion for what I do.

How long have you been a stylist? I have been in the industry for over 20 years now. How long have you worked at Changes? I joined the Changes family in 2019 What's your favorite Aveda Product? The Shampowder Dry Shampoo. What do you specialize in or prefer to do?                                                                                                                                   I am a fully licensed cosmetologist/makeup artist, my career began in film, fashion, theatre, and cosmetics and it wasn’t long afterwards that I migrated into hair. What's 3 things you cannot live without? When I’m not behind the chair, I enjoy the quiet pastimes of reading and writing, and the warm company of my cats. What inspires you? Working with such a phenomenal group of staff and stylists, I’m inspired on a daily basis. However in order to stay fresh and current, I gravitate to British and Harajuku street style fashion, music, film, and long scrolls on Instagram and Pinterest to always be ahead of the game when it comes to trends.
KAMERON
How long have you been a stylist?                                        I became a stylist behind the chair in 2008. How long have you worked at Changes? I started at Changes Hair Studio in 2017. What is your favourite Aveda product? My favourite Aveda product is Phomollient. What do you specialize in or prefer to do?                                                                                                                                   Red seal certified stylist. I have been working on a year long advance cutting course, I love learning new techniques and furthering my career with education. Blondes and glossy brunettes with lived in natural looks are my favourite. What inspires you? What inspires me is the  beauty in nature and all of the places I’ve travelled to and the places I have yet to see. What are 3 things you cannot live without? Three things I can’t live without are all my loved ones especially my husband, adventure and a morning cappuccino.
